Homemade Carp Baits Using Cheap Sausage Meat for Big Fish!

By Tim Richardson

These days looking for cheap but well proven alternative big fish protein baits is very important and homemade sausage meat baits and ground baits are brilliant baits for so many reasons. Luncheon meats and Pepperoni are popular and effective but extremely expensive as fishing baits. So let's now see how to make your own big fish sausage meat baits and save yourself a fortune!

Using sausage meat is rather more ethical than basing your baits on very valuable marine resources, but you can use it to bulk-up certain fish or shellfish bait mixes to cut costs and create different nutritional profiles, tastes effects etc. you can easily get sausage meat fresh or frozen fresh and fresh is best although catfish are also renowned for loving baits just souring, but I would prefer to use this effect with blood based baits for instance and not pork. Often the biggest fish in your water will take a new safe bait pretty quickly and certainly sausage meat based baits are not trendy so can really give you many competitive edges!

Making baits from congealed or minced sausage meats is really simple, fast and easy. It contains many nutrients that stimulate big catfish and carp with many oils and amino acids etc. Although many sausage meat products contain rusk and cereal is great bulking and binding agent, you can use extremely cheap wheat flour for example, plus eggs to bind it into a dough, to use as bait, or to make paste baits or produce boiled baits.

To make these economical protein based baits is fast and very easy!

Use a large pan or bowl to make a bait mix using a test batch of about half a pound of meat plus about 2or 3 hen's eggs and enough wheat flour added to bind into dough. This is practical bait to use immediately, or you can store it in plastic bags and store in the freezer or fridge for future sessions. Although these meat baits (like any bait ingredients) may vary in nutritional profiles and fish effects and catch results, they are normally instant type baits and reliable fish catchers straight from the first cast.

Pre-baiting with a new bait is definitely a good edge putting things far more in your favour. (This is not totally necessary with this bait though.) I got a friend to do this for me in a swim (not such a clever move,) and I never got in the swim as incidental catches by other anglers meant it was too popular as a result of the baiting; so bait less obvious swims! Even just introducing a few pounds of bait in golf ball sized pieces the day before fishing can make a big difference!

Introducing safe free baits is never a wasted exercise and in fact this is one of the most powerful methods of achieving big fish catches anyway. Many easy ground baits can be made from sausage meat too. Using paste on the hair or direct on the hook has been catching big carp and catfish for decades, and now is a great time to try it! Paste bait is really effective but if smaller fish are troublesome simply scald or par-boil your baits to make them more resistant and use paste on your rig too!

You might make your boilies from small half inch odd shaped pieces and these odd baits will have a competitive edge over all those expensive uniformly shaped machine-rolled baits! Just get a half pan of water boiling and add a handful of baits at a time usually for about 2 minutes on average before removing them. Use handy towels or papers (or special drying trays from Gardener tackle) to dry your baits and remember to keep your water boiling at all times.

Boil your baits for anything from a minute to 5 minutes; the longer boiling makes them harder, but this loses more attraction in the process. To help attraction there are so many choices to add to your bait, or just to keep results coming. For instance you could add sea salt at about a teaspoon per 2 eggs worth of bait mixed, or add curry powder at a heaped teaspoonful per egg used in the mix or more depending on the form of curry powder used.

Really cheap homemade sausage baits might mirror Pepperoni products and you can add herbs and spices to improve attraction and stimulates fish digestion and general metabolism which is extremely valuable thing to do! You might simply add yeast powders, or Marmite or Vegemite to improve your stimulatory nutritional profile or use various matured cheeses which are rich in stimulatory salts and bacterially predigested proteins. Save money by adding a proportion of liquidised liver instead of more expensive liquid protein amino acids supplements for instance to boost nutritional stimulation.

The choice of ingredients, additives, flavours, taste enhancers etc not only bewildering for most anglers, but often expensive. It is a giant money-saving edge when you know what you are really adding for exactly what direct or indirect purpose in stimulating fish digestion, or to enhance responses at fish receptors and the brain to induce more intensive feeding for instance. Whatever you use, be it a bioactive flavour complex, or simple monosodium glutamate or anchovy source, often keeping things cheap will provide many hidden edges over anglers commercial baits which may already have peaked as it were...

Fishing baits which are based on substances that trigger fish feeding and fish metabolism among many other things are well recommended, but you need to get to know the details of this to exploit them most cost effectively, but remember the advantages of using a popular commercial bait is lessened by far when fishing against more experienced, talented, full-time moneyed (or bait sponsored) anglers! Homemade baits like those based on very cheap sausage meat work against those highly hyped baits that cost a fortune (even if they are enzyme active etc,) and will catch you lots of big carp and catfish: fact. Obviously the more you get to know about bait the more edges you can have which save you a fortune and keep producing better than average catch results, and cheap baits are not necessarily crap baits; but the complete opposite so keep reading!

What You Should Look For In A PWC Cover

By Clayton Donner

This season what you need for your personal watercraft is a pwc cover. A tailor-fit or custom-made cover designed exactly for your make and model of watercraft will be the best investment you can make. You can find a cover that will custom fit just about any watercraft that you might own these days. Manufacturers, dealers, after-market accessory shops will carry a good selection, although it's probably easier to order on-line and have it shipped rather than try to find a pwc cover for your exact model in stock.

Acquiring pwc covers or seadoo pwc covers with a perfect fit should be the most important factor when you are deciding on a custom cover. This becomes extremely important when it comes time to transport your watercraft ? whether you are 10 minutes or 2 hours from your favorite lake or harbor, trailering a pwc with an improperly fitting cover can be hard on your boat, as well as potentially hazardous for you and/or drivers behind you on the highway.

Now the second biggest thing to worry about after you've choosen a properly fitting cover, is to make sure you consider the material. Material plays a huge role in the quality of your pwc cover, and will be the primary factor in how long your cover will last and protect your pwc.

When it comes to material choice, Sunbrella is probably the most popular option - at least if you're looking at quality pwc covers. The advantages to Sunbrella are it's patented sun-resistent abilities, especially in particularly hot and harsh conditions. Secondly, it is a woven fabric, which means it breathes. This is important because breathable fabrics allow moisture and heat to escape, thereby protecting your pwc from heat buildup and damaging mildew formation. In addition, the woven material adds tear resistance for extra durability.

Regardless of whether you are looking for a seadoo cover, Yamaha pwc cover, Kawasaki pwc cover, a doger, bimini, or any other kind of boat cover that you can imagine, it is important to keep these two factors in mind - exact fit, and a durable material. Color choice helps to make your ride look good, but a cheap cover that looks ratty in less than a year just isn't worth skimping on.

Many people ask whether they should buy manufacturers pre-fabricated covers for their watercraft, or whether they need to have a custom pwc covering specifically designed and tailored to get the maximum protection. The pre-made options are often tailored to exactly fit a particular make, model and year, so this is often the most cost effective solution as well. It is a good idea to search for some reviews about the quality and attention to detail for the particular cover manufacturer that you are considering ordering from.

So now that you know the important things to watch for when looking for your sea doo cover, you can feel safe that you will find the best option to protect your summer lake toy. The only other thing you'll have to decide is whether that really awesome custom designed 3-d flame embossed cover is worth twice the price, but more importantly, whether they make it in a shred resistant breathable material.

What Do I Want From An RC Boat?

By Birgit F.

When you first get started in the exciting hobby of radio controlled boats, you'll have to make several decisions: Where are you going to run your boat? How much can you invest in your new hobby? What type of boat should you get? And will you be assembling the boat yourself or get a ready-to-run boat kit?

Let's start by talking about a place to run your RC boat. What you need is a large body of water that is very calm and free of weeds. This is the ideal place to run your boat, so start looking around.

Consider the three types of RC boats that are available to you. The three categories are divided into how they are fueled. Electric RC boats are perhaps the easiest and least expensive to start off with, and they use batteries that you charge in a wall outlet. They are not as powerful as the other types, and when the batteries get drained, you need to think about replacing the batteries or plugging them back in to recharge. Take some time to see if they are the boats that you should get started with.

If you are a hobbyist with an intermediate level of experience, you may find that it is time for you to look at nitro-methane powered RC boats. These boats run on a mixture of nitrogen and methane and they can get a lot of power. The fuel for this type of boat is the most expensive, though they can be quickly and easily refueled for competitions.

Finally, we have the gasoline powered RC boat. These are both, the most powerful RC boat out there, and the fastest, and they run on a mix of gas and oil. They are not necessarily for the beginner unless you have someone to help you run them. The start up cost to get a gas powered RC boat is fairly high, but you will find that this pays for itself over time as the gasoline fuel comes in at a lower cost than the nitro-methane mix that is used for the nitro powered models. Consider what priorities you have when you are thinking about purchasing boats and which one you are interested in investing in.

Whether you choose a high end gasoline RC boat, a nitro RC boat or an electric RC boat, make sure that you take some time to see how the boat handles. A single hull that has a deep V shape will give you the best handling without impacting your speed.

If you are limited by your budget or the size of the water available to run your boat, you might be best off to start out with an electric rc boat. While not as powerful as gasoline and nitro rc boats, there are some upscale electric rc boats on the market today that can reach speeds as high as 40mph.

An electric rc boat might also be the best solution if you have to run your boat in or near a residential neighborhood where nitro and gasoline rc boats would be way too loud and might even get you banned. Electric rc boats are very quiet and will not disturb the peace.

If you want an interesting hobby that is fun to get involved in, consider radio controlled boating. There are a lot of choices out there that are waiting for you, and whether you are interested in building boats, running them, or racing them, there will be just the right one for you!

In conclusion I recommend that you purchase a radio controlled boat that is suitable for your environment, your desires, and your budget.

How To Find The Best Travel Agents to Save Time and Money

By Matt Harris

Have you ever wondered what exactly is up with travel agents? This informative report can give you an insight into everything you've ever wanted to know about travel agents.

Travel agents often are very experienced travellers in their own right, and use these experiences to provide their clients with the most current travel packages available. Successful travel agents also take several courses and achieve certifications in their chosen field to maintain their abilities to offer top of the line service. Travel agents can enrol their customers through the Caribbean's reservations department currently for select ships and via booking tools for all ships beginning May 10. Travel agents are not in business to book flights. They plan entire vacations, and by purchasing a complete package from them, you might be able to save money.

Tourism goes hand-in-hand with the ups and downs of a travel industry. So, if you want to save money, you need to search for the ideal vacation package that will allow you to book rooms, recreations, and tours whenever you want and wherever you want at the best discount prices. Tourists from all over the world visit this country quite in large number. There are lots of options for tourism in this country.

The travel site then follows up with the traveller and the travel agents to ensure that all is going well, and to get ratings and feedback from both sides. Trip cancellation insurance is a must travel insurance for tour operators to sell to their clients. They will also want to make sure that there is a good baggage and personal effects insurance for their group.

If you find yourself confused by what you've read to this point, don't despair. Everything should be crystal clear by the time you finish.

Travel agents aren't going the way of the eight-track tape just yet. Most travel agents are continually learning about destinations and suppliers; who to work with and who not to work with. They are there and they work for you. Travel agents no longer make commissions once offered by all airlines, therefore they must charge for their professional services. Large companies usually have in-house travel specialists who have travel agent backgrounds, though up-and-coming companies can still benefit from using outside travel agencies. Travel agents are not rip-off artists, but it is part of their job to "mark it up".

Business travel comprised 21 percent of outbound travel, unchanged from 2005. Business travellers often change their plans on a moment's notice, making the process even more complicated. And ticket prices are constantly changing. Travel agents, although they need a license to sell it, don't understand insurance (as a general rule). They just know they get paid more when they sell the travel insurance.

Bookings for this limited-time offer must be made between March 24 and August 11, 2009. The offer for 'two more nights free' is valid at all three Disneyland hotels? Booking a cruise with a travel agency also affords the vacationer the ability to fully customize their vacation resorts. The agency can help you select a variety of optional add-ons, often at minimal additional cost.

Now you can understand why there's a growing interest in travel agents. When people start looking for more information about travel agents, you'll be in a position to meet their needs.

Make Carp fishing Bait And Save Money And Catch Better Fish!

By Tim Richardson

Many fishermen avoid making their own baits but secretly wished they could to save money. The fact is that making your own very effective baits is far easier than you might think and you can use most of the ingredients and similar recipes that commercial bait makers have used successfully for years. You just need a little know-how in order to catch bags of big fish and to save yourself a fortune!

Carp live in an aquatic world where most of the food they eat is based on proteins which can also contain important essential oils which also provide extremely efficient energy and do not predominantly eat carbohydrates as with so many races of humans. Carp have evolved to extract the most energy as possible from the foods available; and this means from proteins especially. Making fishing baits which contain protein ingredients is so important and is in line with carp natural dietary (and naturally stimulatory bait requirements.)

Proteins are composed of amino acids which carp can easily detect and find stimulating; and there are around 10 plus essential ones which carp cannot synthesise in there own body and must consume in their food to survive. The carp essential amino acids list includes: Histidine, leucine, isoleucine, valine, tryptophan, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine and arginine and carp will eat foods and baits containing any of these as they are essential to them. Exploiting protein ingredients in your baits is obviously a good thing as you are offering something fish need to survive.

Our bodies and carp bodies have evolved and adapted to extract energy in the most efficient ways from food found in our natural environments. With carp we can simulate or even boost the natural attraction and stimulation of substances found in their natural foods in our baits. The range of ingredients, extracts, liquid attractors, flavors etc we can use to exploit carp natural food detection senses is phenomenal and ensures we can always make unique homemade baits!

In fish experiments the essential amino acid requirement of very few fish has been established, but those of carp are known and can be exploited in our baits to good effect. But you do not need to know how to create a balanced profile or high protein bait to catch fish. It does help to use protein foods like hens eggs, fish meals, caseins etc which are high protein sources, because they provide many essential amino acids and are extremely well proven bait ingredients.

But protein based baits are not strictly necessary to get bites of course and a multitude of baits including those based on carbohydrates like wheat flour or corn flour will still catch very well indeed providing they are altered to keep them in effect new and different to previous baits. Many of the most economical bait recipes based on carbohydrate ingredients have consistently caught big fish for decades despite arguments raging over quality food versus crap baits and other theories. If you keep changing your attractors even just by using alternative proprietary flavor dips you can always keep ahead of your fish on any particular fishery; just remember to exploit what stimulates fish naturally and avoid over-dosing with solvent based flavours unless you are fishing single bait style.

So many carp fisheries are over-stocked that the fish need to eat your bait and treat it as natural food. As many carp anglers know well, possibly the greatest edge is to be different and so you can fish with confidence against any well-used readymade commercial bait knowing your unique bait has a great edge of being different and unique. This is one great motivator for me to make my own extremely economical and productive homemade carp baits rather than spend 10 pounds or 20 Dollars on a bag of readymade bait that others are already using!

You might wish to use things like bird foods which can be used both as binders and cheap but nutritional ingredients and just add eggs for example to help bind and can boost your bait protein and nutrition considerably despite carp digestion limiting effects in low temperatures especially. Bait making does not need to be rocket science and the simplest and cheapest of bait recipes catch big fish regularly for decades if fished well. Although carp love proteins for there amino acids particularly, stimulatory and attractive substances are so varied that you will never be short of a new effective homemade bait or alternative potent and unique readymade bait dip; all you need is quality know-how...

Travel agents must work at least 20 hours per week and earn a minimum of $5,000 per year in commissions as a travel agent to qualify for an IATAN card. Travel agents provide customers with information and advice about travel destinations. They make transportation and accommodation arrangements. Travel agents are in a unique position to influence this burden as the most common and most serious problems are preventable with simple advice and/or immunisation. This study, using covert researchers, suggests this potential is not being fully utilised.

The travel site then follows up with the traveller and the travel agents to ensure that all is going well, and to get ratings and feedback from both sides. Airlines normally tell you to wait two to three credit card billing cycles, but a year isn't unheard of. I've seen that a time or two. Airlines post their schedules anywhere from six to 11 months in advance.

Travel agents generally work regular hours and spend most of their time at a desk. Hours may be longer during holiday and vacation seasons. Travel agents inform consumers about the price, availability and other details of various travel options and make reservations and sell tickets to the travellers for the travel services they choose.

Carp Fishing Bait Secrets Of Getting More Big Fish Bites!

By Tim Richardson

It will probably come as a surprise to many fishermen that fish alternate frequently between one feeding mode and another, in order to best profit from various food opportunities available in the aquatic environment even within a short time period and this can change many times even over an hour or 24 hour period. The way fish feed is key to how best to tempt them in order to get a hook in their mouth and catch them, but few anglers actually give this immensely important subject the attention it demands. But the good news is that you can induce many fish feeding modes simply and easily in order to catch more fish purely by exploiting what comes naturally to them...

If you ever fished a match using tiny hooks for bloodworm or jokers as bait, you will know how powerful these fish catching baits are. One of the best feeding triggers for carp and one of the most abundant amino acids found in mature carp tissues is alanine which also happens to be found in abundance in blood worms and jokers. Fish instinctively feed in the most energy efficient way depending on the food supply available and how and where it is located and how spread out or dense or large or small the food items are.

Many carp anglers do not realise carp can feed on items as small as algae and tiny zooplankton crustaceans, even under a millimetre in size and derive extremely significant nutrition from such small organisms. These are very rich foods and are often exploited when fluctuations of populations are especially favourable and in spring and summer help in the time leading up to and after spawning. The success of fine particulate feeds like fine fish meal and bread crumb ground baits in many ways echo this mode of feeding which in this case can occur at any level in the water or sediment.

This kind of feeding or similar can be used to further explore the potential of your hook baits and free baits as food items even before your bait is actually touched by a fish. You might have seen a fish suddenly dart towards a bait after having started gulping in water first to taste your bait more efficiently using taste buds in the pharyngeal cavity in the gill area. Fish also use gulping in a snapping motion in a mobile pump feeding) or static position to filter feed and particulate feed and carp and bream do this much of the time in turbid lakes; lazy of what!

When filter feeding and using similar and related modes, carp can actually benefit from you baits nutrition and attraction without even touching them which definitely has its advantages if you use this to excite them fully before they actually feed. Such things as vegetable and fish oils, fine crustacean and milk extract powders and liver and digestive tract extracts for example, can all be exploited, but there are thousands of choices. You bait substances through carp filter feeding can induce a feeding frenzy state even before your carp have even swallowed a single bait!

Bass and trout and even carp, bream and fish like crappie roach and barbel all filter feed to different degrees. This finely adjusted feeding is achieved using what is called the branchial sieve structures which are adjusted in order to energy efficiently exploit more abundant nutritious food particles and natural organisms. Carp can even suction filter feed at least an equal head length away from its head which is similar in energy and movement efficiency as a sheep seen feeding on grass on its knees although fish use far less energy in general movement compared to terrestrial animals not supported in water.

It often seems to be the case that carp fishing baits focus goes on chemical smells for instance which are very obvious to our senses, but it needs to be remembered that fish have extremely fine tuned lateral line cells which use electrochemical impulses in the detection of food items even by the tiny movements of zooplankton only 1 millimetre in diameter. The gape size of a fish's mouth is normally not a limiting factor in efficient feeding, but the diameter of the area where the food is chewed is and it is often far less than the gape of the mouth. Therefore its makes sense to exploit this and use smaller baits than often recommended. In fact carp in turbid lakes predominantly depend on food which is in particle size, so why not go with this approach not against it!

Smaller food items can naturally be passed to the throat teeth in mouthfuls without any problem and of course the more energy efficient the food delivery system is the better. It can often be the case that small baits are the preferred choice of more experienced big fish anglers because they can see the benefits of smaller food items in regards how fish feed on such baits and also their more natural weight, size and movement in water when combined with a correctly balanced hook rig. I find boilies in the 6 to 8 millimetre size excellent for bigger more wary fish even with huge mouths!

How many big carp get hooked by match anglers at the end of a day of baiting up constantly with tiny pouches of fine bread crumb and fish meal and tiny micro pellet ground baits; it happens far more often than carp anglers like to imagine. The constant ground baiting is one factor along with the fine tackle they use, but mostly, match anglers are offering carp the ideal form of ground bait to exploit their natural filter feeding modes. Literally matching up your bait to the feeding modes of fish and even influencing which mode and feeding intensity occurs can seriously improve your catches all season; it just takes a little bait know-how...

Easy Homemade Carp Baits For Big Fish And Saving Money

By Tim Richardson

The last time I bought baits to go carp fishing they cost around 10 to 12 pounds a kilogram and the cost of pellets soon adds up too! For an average weekend, the cost of bait can be just horrendous, putting a big strain on very many already tight household budgets. It really does make much more sense to make your own baits and save yourself a fortune! They are far easier and quicker to make these days with excellent information and equipment available. And I am finding among fellow anglers, a not too surprising rapidly growing interest in developing homemade bait making skills, which many of us honed some 30 or more years ago.

In fact when you have made your homemade baits despite any mistakes you might make, well over 80 percent of your recipes will catch fish and equal results on readymades with ease. The fact they will be fresh and new is a giant factor in this too. New baits will arouse far less care and suspicion for most fish as they have never even been hooked on your new bait before. One of the great things about homemade baits is that they can keep you well ahead of the fish and fellow anglers who always follow the crowd using readymades, giving you even better consistent catches and more big fish!

You just need to fish sensibly and thoughtfully as you would normally for any big wary fish in order to be consistently successful. There is such a special and unique thrill and great sense of satisfaction when you catch fish, especially big fish like carp, catfish, bass, tench or even pike on your own homemade bait. One crucially important point about homemade baits is that you have no chance of anyone ruining your own chances by also fishing using your bait.

Bait only really has a peak of effectiveness when fish feed confidently on it because they know they most likely will not get hooked and risk getting taken home for tea. Sure we put them back, but if you were hooked and dragged out of your safe air environment into a foreign one you would be wary of any bait that has led to you being hooked previously too! Making your own alternative secret bait recipes is such a great advantage over the masses who use readymades without a further thought to their never talked about disadvantages!

Popular baits in many ways do have a shelf life in terms of longevity of effectiveness. Top bait manufacturers will tell you that even in a stock pond which has never been fished, when a new bait has been fished intensively by a number of anglers successfully, their results can slow right up even literally to the point of no more fish being caught on that bait. (This is no exaggeration, for example Gary Bayes of the international bait company Nashbaits told me of his experience of this!) Many baits exploit highly concentrated flavors in order to affect bait pH to stimulate fish. Others use the biological nutritional value approach and call their baits food baits for this reason.

You might have read about making homemade baits and had the impression it has to be difficult and time consuming despite being more economical by far than using commercial baits. However it is in reality so easy to make homemade baits that catch fish over forty pounds that a 12 year old can do it and that is the real truth. There is no obligation for you to make baits anything like resembling commercial baits, all smooth, round barrel shapes perfectly formed and so on. In fact to copy them would lose you many hidden advantages that are not lost making very different baits! You do not even have to roll baits into balls at all or even boil them to produce boilies and there are very easy ways to avoid any time consuming parts in making baits.

You do not have to make individual baits in round shapes. Why not roll out a bait paste made of eggs, liquid additives and dry powders made into a dough and simply cut this into little odd shaped pieces? You could pop these into a pan of boiling water for about a minute or so to make boilies.

Making homemade bait is as hard as finding a bowl a mixing spoon or knife, a few eggs and some flours or other dry ingredients. Many flours about the house will bind to form a bait, from semolina and soya to maize and corn flour, and dried rice flour. For example, crack 5 or 6 eggs into a bowl and whisk them adding any flavouring or liquids additives you might choose, like ketchup or a flavoring from the baking aisle of your local store. Take 8 ounces of semolina and the same of soya flour and slowly add to your eggs until a dough the feel of putty is made. It is very easy and quick and with practice you can do this at lightening speed!

When your dough is ready you can use it immediately, or put it labelled plastic bags for later use. Store baits in the fridge or freeze them. It is best to make a note of the ingredients and levels in each individual bait mix. To make around a kilogram of bait it takes about 6 eggs with your dry powders. But this is a very rough guide and every mix can vary widely depending on ingredients, their solubility etc.

Considering you can easily make very economical baits even with better food nutrition value than just carbohydrate baits like the one described, it is still shocking to work out just how much money you can save. You can produce very effective big fish baits for 2 or 3 pounds or about 6 dollars per kilogram compared to shop prices of 5 or 6 times this cost. The total cost of 10 kilograms of readymade baits can be 80 to 120 pounds, while your homemade bait can cost you just 20 or 30 pounds, saving you 60 to 100 pounds for every 10 kilograms of readymade bait!

The best advantage of all is you can make your baits as different to normal as you like. Remember, being different is what really counts. Most frequently it is the most different and alternative homemade baits which tempt the very biggest and wariest of fish. You can start off with the simple bait here, but you might like to find out more if you really want to get cracking and hit the big-time!

Many anglers fish without ever knowing how their baits actually induce fish to behave the way they do; in taking bait and hook into their mouths. But if you knew better how to achieve this effect in practice, and how to manipulate it more appropriately at times, do you think this would increase your chances of bites and fish landed? If so, then read on!

Confidence in a bag, (or bottle) when it come to bait is one of great personal opinions for every angler, because the truth is everyone has different experiences even on the same baits, at different waters, and many anglers with put down other baits even though they have never even used them, which is a tad bit short-sighted perhaps. Confidence mostly comes from perceptions in fishing, and certainly not from first-hand experience. But it is first-hand personal experience that is the only thing you can truly trust as fact, but I do not mean by this that claims about commercial bait quality and effectiveness are not true.

Now you might wonder what all this confidence stuff has to do with actually knowing something useful about vital carp senses beyond appreciating that they like a bit of protein or a maybe have a flavour preference now and again. In terms of flavours, not all are the same! If I suggested that chilli powder can help your bait be detected from greater range by senses involving various specialised receptor cells and specialised canal pits along the lateral line (and in the actual skin of the fish,) this might be new to many.

Many secrets are hidden from our senses but uncovered very easily by a little messing about with baits and some very elementary science, for instance, many carp bait substances change when in water into different ones to those we experience as humans in air... Garlic releases that pungent smell when broken in air and we are all familiar with similar compounds from onions and chives for example. But the smells from garlic we associate with its success are not strictly accurate, as certain of the key chemicals do not get produced in water the same as in air, and this might suggest to some thinking anglers that far more is going on, perhaps on a more deeper level to do with the biology of the fish in response to bioactive garlic substances rather than just a smell or taste.

Carp may be influenced far more profoundly by internal impacts on their bodies than a simple flavour or taste offers and many proteins are thermogenic involving extra releasing of energy, and salmon is a very successful example of this, but poultry too for instance, but bait ingredients and substances impact on the brain, some far more powerfully than others! I tried an experiment today by eating wheat-free biscuits and an wheat-free doughnut too! However, after even the first bite, even though ingredients were virtually the same as the wheat-containing biscuits and doughnuts (but for only one key aspect,) taking another bite was more of a pain than a pleasure. All those good sweeteners, taste-enhancers, fruit flavours etc should have made me want to eat more right, but they did not, because I had got used to expecting something else to happen that did not; a release of feel-good hormones in the brain...

Now when I ate these foods, the bit that made me want another wheat-based doughnut or biscuit after eating the first one had disappeared from the wheat-free products, (and what a surprise and disappointment that was!) This meant that something beyond just taste and smell impacts was involved. Something that effected the release of those feel-good hormones in the brain were gone and I really noticed the difference!

Just imagine eating a food for years without that feel-good feeling after each morsel; making you want another one, and then eating one which does have this effect. Which one would you choose?! I don't think you would have much choice; your brain will decide for you, and that is one reason why over-weight comfort food eaters who binge on cakes, biscuits, chocolate and many other foods, regularly can't help themselves.

Many foods are made with substances that further impact on the brain to eat you to eat it more because it means the producers make more money and you actually get into a habit of eating it, and finding foods without such habit-inducing chemicals can be quite a hard thing to do if you try to rid your diet, body and brain to become free from their influence! Think tiger nuts or peanuts, now these are not exactly the most packed nutritional foods on the planet, but even though hemp is a super food in its own right, it too has substances with brain influencing impacts and practical consideration these aspects of bait ingredients, flavours etc can really get you the edge over fish, and other competing baits. You can term it using habit-forming or addictive substances to manipulate fish behaviours or just call it good use of what a bait should really be - i.e. addictive! The bait secrets ebooks author offering this has much more to reveal to those wanting better baits and bigger catches but this will certainly help you!

US Virgin Islands are America's Paradise Diving

By Simon N James

Located among 50 islands with the US Virgin Islands are the three islands of St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix where some of the best diving in the region can be found. Accessing these islands is simple with flights from many major US airports daily.

St. Thomas

Typically the dive centres will take you to a dive site located at the waters of Pillsbury Sound between St. Thomas and St. John to dive the various shipwrecks encrusted with bright sponges and coral. One nice example is the General Rogers what is a 120-foot US Coast Guard buoy which was sunk to form a reef which sits upright in around 60 feet of water. The reef as grown on the buoy and has created an Orange cup coral and others with abundance of fishes such as angelfish and grunts.

Named the best diving in the Virgin Islands, Sail Rock reaches up 125 feet in the air off the West End of St Thomas and is teeming with jacks, wrasse, barracuda and turtles.

St. John

Located between the islands St. John and St. Thomas are two very popular diving locations called Congo Cay and Carval Rock. Carval rock a nice dive site which is home to many turtles, swarming silversides, cruising reef sharks, and waving sea rods and gorgonians. The swim-through is a must do which tower is between two towering rock faces is covered with vibrant marine life.

Congo Cay's is a totally different experience and is a lovely drift dive using the currents to move long the reef. Complete with their own resident string rays and the weathered rocks create a lovely dive. Both Congo Cay and Carval Rock are diverable by all skills except in bad weather.

St. Croix

North side of St. Croix is one of the best wall dives in the Caribbean, the wall starts only 100 yards of the beach line and drops to several thousand feet, there are around 20 dive sites located along the wall with varying natures features such as pinnacles, ledges, walls and caverns.

All the Dive shops on all three islands of St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix will offer resort courses, complete certification classes and rental equipment. Many package deals are available with local hotels and dive operators combining for a single price package. Accommodations range from 5-star resorts and villas to small, family run inns and hotels. Camping is even available for those who want to rough it a bit outdoors.

Step Aboard a Catalina Island Ferry and Escape!

By Shelly G. Hollister

Catalina Island is a rugged and beautiful part of the Channel Island archipelago located just off the southern California coast. If you have lived in California for any time, you have likely heard about it, but probably don't realize just how easy to get to it really is. If you are visiting Southern California, then you should consider adding a day trip to Santa Catalina Island to your itinerary.

Catalina Island is often compared to small Mediterranean coastal towns and has a distinclty different vibe than the rest of California. Residents of the two main coastal towns of Avalon and Two Harbors are friendly and enjoy the slow pace of island life. Everything on the island is more expensive, including gas, food, and building materials, as everything must be brought in by boat or on one of the regular supply barges. Very few vehicle permits are allowed, so locals use bicycles, ATVs and modified golf carts as their primary means of transportation, which provides a dramatic contrast to the congested freeways of nearby Los Angeles.

Once there, visitors will discover a rich cultural history and a multitude of activities to suit all tastes. The island is not well known for some of its most interesting claims, including being home to the first golf course in California, the birthplace of modern sport fishing, home to the famous Wrigley Estate, and for its famous Bison herds, which now roam the beaches after being imported and left behind by a film production back in the 1950s.

Most of the Island and its near-shore waters is protected by the Catalina Island Conservancy, who are dedicated to preserving and restoring the original flora and fauna, as well as protecting the wild bison herds. Catalina's rich waters are home to a bio-diverse abundance of marine life, making it a prime destination for biologists, eco-tourists, and scuba divers.

The logistics of getting to Catalina Island are very easy and require minimal planning. Getting to the island is possible by ferry, helicopter, or private charter boat. The catalina ferry service is the most convenient, with many departure/return trips and is inexpensive. There are two main Catalina ferry companies that offer year-round service, with increased trips during the busy summer months.

Most island visitors take the Catalina Express, a high speed catamaran which departs from Long Beach and completes the trip in about an hour. Departing from Newport Beach, the Catalina Flyer is another triple decker high-speed catamaran the also offers service to Catalina Island. Whichever Catalina Ferry you choose, the ride is usually smooth and comfortable with beautiful views of the southern California coast and frequent schools of dolphins, and migrating whales to make your voyage exciting and memorable!

Caribbean Cruise : a Complete Review of my Trip

By John Siekdof

Cruising Caribbean islands always gives a new high. Caribbean cruise has varied offerings that suit a family vacation as well as a fabulous honeymoon. The pleasure and adventurous nature of Caribbean cruise draws thousands of visitors all around the world.

Want a perfect experience of honeymoon vacation in Caribbean Cruise? Book a good cruise line first. A good cruise is a must to enjoy the detailed offerings of Caribbean. Here we are providing a review of Caribbean cruise for your help.

Caribbean cruise line

I have been into Caribbean cruise before but for my spouse, it was the first time. We went for a Western Caribbean trip and the cruise line selected was Carnival Cruise lines. The name of the ship was Carnival Conquest. We boarded on cruise from New Orleans after we packed our bags and checked into a hotel in New Orleans, a day before. Thus, we got sufficient rest before we started our excursion.

Preparation for the Trip

After a good rest, the day of your journey arrived finally. At the early morning, we reached the dock. On the dock, the passengers were unloaded from the Carnival Conquest and after that the cruise was made ready for its next trip to Western Caribbean.

We were waiting for our chance to get inside the ship and the queue was already rising. The luggage porters told that boarding time would be 10 am. Then we cleared our boarding pass and got the "sail & sign". We showed the necessary papers to the security and then got inside the ship.

Our wait was not exactly over, after getting into the ship. The formalities took two more hours to get completed and by the time the cruise started, it was 12 in the noon. But, we must say that the wait was not boring at all as the cruise started taking our care provided us good food.

First Day Experience

The total count of the people traveling on the cruise was approximately 3000. Thus, it was evident that why the formalities took so long to get over. We finally got our luggage after checking.

As soon as we got our luggage, we immediately took out our swimming suits and took a plunge into the swimming pool. After swimming, we got indulged in the sight seeing and other entertainment activities. Dinner was ready by eight in the evening and we headed straight away towards the table.

The enjoyable moments

The second and the third day was actually the real pleasure of our Western Caribbean cruise. We were sailing through the Mississippi river and then entered the Gulf of Mexico. The experience of these two days was immaculate. We explored the ship and did several enjoyable activities. There was not a single dull moment. Some of the memorable activities during the cruise were gambling in the casino, participating in the lounge trivia, exercising in the gym, soaking up the sun, enjoying couple of drinks and lot more.

If you are also planning to take up a Caribbean cruise, go for it and don't forget your camera.

Rod Bending Carp Baits And Irresistible Fishing Ingredients!

By Tim Richardson

You can make carp baits as easy and simple or as complex as you want but one thing is certain and that is, for best results you need to make sure your baits are as unlikely to arouse as little suspicion in fish as possible. To do this you need to leverage the top rule with fishing bait; that of making your bait unique and different! A new different bait has the best potential to tempt big wary carp because even where a so-called food bait or nutritional biological value bait is established, once fish get hooked on it, then fish feeding behaviour on it can alter dramatically!

The purpose of a fishing bait is not to smell like a banana, nor be an eye-catching colour, nor shine in the dark like a beacon, or taste like a banquet. It is merely to get your hook in the fishs mouths for the split second it tasks to have the slightest chance of hooking a fish. Everything else is secondary. But many fishermen seriously cut their chances by using baits many others have caught fish on before, not realising how much harder fish on such baits unfortunately can be to catch; having been hooked on them previously! (So many overlook this top priority warning!) It should therefore make absolute sense that making your bait different to previously successful baits is a big key to consistent big fish success.

Many baits simply tantalise the fish and evoke a curiosity response rather than provide anything nutritional and many angler get confused thinking that baits absolutely must be an perfect square meal to get takes, but this is completely untrue. Any change you make to a bait can induce a curiosity response from a fish regardless of any other olfaction or other chemoreception stimulation which might be present in the bait. Carp feed using far more senses than merely taste and smell and all can be exploited for improved and prolonged more consistent results!

There is much said about flavors. This probably because they have such vivid impacts upon our senses as most are mainly based upon strongly volatile solvent substances and many taste and smell like foods we recognise; like pineapple, cranberry, banana and strawberry. Changing flavors can easily produce a new bait and renewed results, but synthetic and solvent based flavors are merely a tiny tip of the real flavors iceberg available to us to exploit. Flavor components can do very various things to fish and the water surrounding our baits to induce bites.

The smell and taste of a bait can simply originate from innate flavors in the base mix and most carp anglers forget that even soya flour, semolina, maize meal, wheat flour or rice flour all have unique tastes and smells which even humans can appreciate with our blunted senses compared to acutely sharp carp ones. Once the stronger more highly soluble flavor substances have leached out of a bait you are left with those possibly less concentrated ones which still tempt fish. At this stage you are dependant upon the more nutritional stimulatory substances naturally within your bait ingredients to induce a bite.

In the case of big carp, they can be caught on baits containing strong powerful flavors or minimal amounts or none at all. The angling fishing pressure they receive 24 hours a day will often influence which approaches and which forms of flavor are more stimulatory or more repellant! But even using rubber and plastic baits will eventually be associated with previous captures and be less effective for this reason.

When anglers think of carp baits most will immediately picture round boilies. These have succeeded for decades, but its is noticeable that round and now barrel shaped baits are being easily dealt with by wary carp and other new alternative shapes should be exploited! In the case of rubber and plastic baits, their many characteristics and lack of these too compared to conventional carp baits really gives them edges, but even these are not totally devoid of anything carp can associate with danger.

Food ultimately comes down to the supply of energy and its efficient use in our bodies and fish are just the same. Any aspect of bait which can provide more efficient use of energy, or at least appear to can be fantastic to use in baits and many are waiting to be discovered and exploited. As big fish have a greater energy requirement it stands to reason that these respond to such substances rather well. If you consider that oils, betaine and even amino acids have a tendency to promote growth and have significant relevance in the use or supply of energy, it is not a surprise they are potent fish feeding triggers!

A great additive for big fish baits is betaine. This is a familiar substance for many carp anglers. But why is it special? So many substances trigger feeding or at least induce exploratory feeding behaviours. Well betaine occurs naturally in human diet and fish diet in natural foods. So it is no surprise that it is used for many vital functions roles and processes in our bodies and though not an a carp essential amino acid it is very important and vital to fish. In fact, so vital that its feeding triggering effects top that of the amino acid alanine which is a known feeding stimulant for very many fish species. The fish olfactory bulb receptor cells are especially stimulated by betaine. It was originally named betaine because it was first identified in the root crops beta vulgaris or beetroot, from which the very first sugar beets were derived from. (Sugars and sweeteners are potent carp feeding triggers.)

Betaine even rivals many essential amino acids carp require in their natural diet and its effects upon food palatability and synergistic interactions with amino acids in baits and in the carp body demonstrate how important this substance is in carp baits! Betaine is a bit like sugar and salt and even flavor components like malic acid which really intensify the effects and profiles of other substance like amino acids and other flavors etc at carp receptor sites all over its body from lips, face, fins, flanks, in the throat and gill areas and even in the gut itself. Yes betaine is a big fish substance for sure!

The vast diversity of substances that you can exploit and manipulate in our baits and many forms of ground baits etc to induce bite from carp are endless. But to make things clearer I have been able myself to categorise great numbers of these extremely desirable substances, ingredients, flavors etc into groups including their sources, uses and biological effects on carp. This has been extremely valuable but took over a full year to complete. You can do a bit of this yourself next time you read an ingredients list on a can of cola, bar of chocolate, readymade meal, can of beans, microwavable curry, and try and identify the substances which turn your body and senses on and make you want to eat more; it makes you think! The popularity of camp and fishing, boating and hunting and outdoors hobbies for sport and recreation combine well together, but bait is always the deciding factor if you catch fish or not despite all your efforts; so learn as much as you can and transform your catches!

Advice When You're Choosing Jon Boats

By Lena Hellsten

Are you looking for a boat that is great to use for transportation or fishing in calm and shallow waters? Then a Jon boat is a very good option. These boats, with a flat bottom and a square stern are some of the most popular basic boats on the market.

These boats were originally made out of wood and have been around on the waters for a long time. They are normally using an outboard motor to get around. Nowadays, the wooden Jon boat is just one of many kinds. You can find Jon boats in other materials that are great since they require less maintenance than wood.

The most common materials are aluminum, polyethylene and fiberglass. These are all good materials that provide you with a boat that is both strong and resistant to damage from the water while at the same time being light and easy to float. What type of material youre choosing is depending on where youre going to use your boat.

While aluminum is strong and adds extra protection if youre driving your boat in rocky areas, it is not as suitable for salty water since this can have a negative impact on the boat and have a corrosive effect which can lead to leakage and other unwanted damages.

If this is the case, youre probably better off with a polyethylene boat since this material is very resistant to salty water. This boat is also strong and can take a few beats yet you should avoid dragging a Jon boat out of polyethylene over rough surfaces.

If you want a boat that is quiet and still usable for salty water, fiberglass is a good choice. This material makes less noise than polyethylene boats when youre moving it over sand bars, through vegetation or when youre moving interiors around the boat.

If you know what youre going to use your Jon boat for and you know the area well where its supposed to be in the water you can feel secure to choose a boat from a material that is perfect for your specific situation.

A Jon boat is great when youre looking for a boat that you can use either for shorter transportation or for fishing. When youre getting your boat, make sure that you ask for professional advice and you can in this way ensure that the boat youre getting is perfect for you.

Carp Baits For Consistent Big Fishing Catches!

By Tim Richardson

When you use carp bait blind without knowing how it works you are using blind faith. In contrast, if you understood far more how and why key aspects of that bait induced bites and had the power to manipulate these potent effect far more then your catches will definitely improve. Read on to find out more...

Most anglers use readymade carp baits because they have become conditioned to because of easy availability, but confidence form slick advertising and advertorials etc are most often the bait that hooks such anglers and certainly not first-hand experience. Often the catches on new baits are made by the best, sharpest and most aware anglers using the edge of a new bait, and most anglers over-look this. If you have not used a bait before and not only do not know what it is made with nor how it works in detail, then my friend, you are fishing on blind faith not confidence.

Science is tricky and seemingly irrelevant for many anglers until they realise the enormous significance that chemicals change in solution with water and many substances are simply not the same in water as air, and fish are experiencing different chemicals all over their bodies and not just on the tongue like humans. Imagine garlic on the tongue; it is mixed with air and saliva, but in mixed just water, garlic produces different compounds and the tastes and smells we experience as humans will be different ones that carp experience. This means that the flavours or pungent smells we might imagine impact on the fish may well not be present in the same form at all, and this might mean that something else is triggering a response from carp, even an internal one where something in garlic is acting to produce thermogenic (metabolism and digestion speeding-up effects for example,) and even have very potent antioxidant and antimicrobial impacts etc.

Perhaps you might begin to think maybe something other than just smell and taste was influential and impacting on the carp; maybe something more profound, internal and physiological, or even psychological... To help clarify this big point, I ate a wheat-free biscuit (and wheat-free doughnut today!) Comparing the ingredients with the wheat-containing versions, the only substitution was that the wheat-free foods were based on maize flour, tapioca starch, soya flour and rice flour. All the rest of the ingredients in the wheat-free products were the same as the conventional wheat-based biscuits and doughnuts, including the fruit flavours, sweeteners, acidity regulators, (preservatives) and enhancers etc.

On eating the wheat-free foods I did not want to keep eating them and certainly Homer Simpson would have a shock if his doughnuts were wheat-free as there is something internally potent missing in them! Beyond all the flavours, sweeteners, enhancers and other goodies already added to those biscuits and doughnut (I say doughnut as I could only eat one,) something vital was missing. That missing substance that in wheat for example causes the release of feel-good hormones in the wheat-free foods was gone, and I really missed it!

Just imagine eating a food for years without that feel-good feeling after each morsel; making you want another one, and then eating one which does have this effect. Which one would you choose?! I don?t think you would have much choice; your brain will decide for you, and that is one reason why over-weight comfort food eaters who binge on cakes, biscuits, chocolate and many other foods, regularly can?t help themselves.

There exist various types of Marine navigation system and it is for this reason that the boater should be sure and research all of the models and functions for the type of Marine GPS navigation he is going to be doing. Certain factors like weather it will be for river fishing or for ocean adventure should be considered so as to determine the model that' will be good and effective. Recreational fishing boats that need fish finders should not necessarily go for an expensive one with all kinds of bells and whistles. This would be necessary for commercial fishermen who will need such fish finders not only to get back ashore, avoid path storms or find fish but might need alarms for shallow reefs or other alarms where a normal recreational fisherman might not need these features.

Make Your Own Homemade Carp Fishing Baits Now!

By Tim Richardson

In these days of recession saving every penny helps and the great bonus with making your own fishing baits is they really can catch you as many if not more big carp " for far less money spent. The vast majority of anglers really have no idea how their baits work in relation to the exploitation of vital carp senses and much of the discussion about baits in the past has often focussed on recipes and flavours, and more recently the first 3 limiting amino acids. But if you think you know it all; no-one does, so why not read on!

Of course it is no surprise that homemade bait-making is making a big come-back; the advantages these can very much out-weigh the financial costs and over-inflated expectations associated with constantly buying popular readymade baits which simply do not produce outstanding catches for the average angler. Regularly on a range of different waters I and my friends have fished with economical homemade baits against anglers using all the well-known brands of readymade baits - and we have held our own or out-fished the more expensive baits very many times. Our catches along with those of other homemade bait-makers over the past 30 plus years prove that they are potent and economical edges in carp fishing; in fact the bait company bosses of today mostly started-out at their own kitchen tables or in their own garden sheds!

Perceptions have changed in carp fishing to an unbelievable degree in recent years; my own twenty fish caught in the UK over forty pounds would be very average on some crazily-priced impossible to get into carp syndicates today, but the fact is that if your goal is big fish, you must fish waters containing them or never achieve your goals at least until the fish you have present access to grow that size if they ever do that is! Many limiting factors are involved in both bait details and fishing itself; commonly it is lack of time and good waters, (or restricted access to them,) exorbitant membership or day ticket prices or bait costs involved in truly being able to establish a bait on a water for an average angler that limits catch results very severely that results in average or lower than average yearly catches for average anglers. Obviously if you are a sponsored angler, in the tackle and bait trades, are a full-time angler, or have the time and resources, or personal support and contacts available etc (which can all come into the equation of success) then your chances of carp fishing success can be far higher than the average.

Most of us have to compete with bait and tackle-sponsored anglers and having the ability to either top their baits or make your own is a very potent edge in such circumstances! Also the willingness to constantly adapt your thinking and develop your personal fishing skills and take risks with your fishing styles and approaches provides endless competitive edges that stuck in a rut carp anglers who follow fashions and the crowd miss all the time. The obvious answer to how to beat the herd is to be the first to do something different in terms of baits and methods; in making your own baits and developing your own approaches you always improve your chances " permanently and you will be a true thinking angler and a genuine sharper carper!

Although beginning in carp bait making is like starting junior school again - when you are really competing against bait companies (and individuals) who are exploiting professionals with PhDs in food science, fish nutrition, electrochemistry and so on, you can be certain your efforts will pay-off, big-time! Although certain anglers will rave-on about a balanced nutritional value bait being as fully digestible as possible and sorted down the third limiting amino acid level, you may noticed that over 90 percent of all carp caught in the world are not caught on such baits; this is because only a handful of well-connected bait designers can actually produced baits to this effect! The nutritional, metabolic and health impacts of a fast and efficiently digested bait cannot be under-estimated however; it figures that the more energy a fish has available after eating baits and the more a bait offers in potential rewards that carp detect in them, the more chances you have of fish actually mouthing baits and consuming them repeatedly " with more chances of captures than very many competing baits perhaps with much less to offer (view my unique ebooks on bait design and making at Baitbigfish for more!)

The average carp angler has been conditioned by appearances to associate carp baits with flavours; many are still on the basic level of asking other anglers what flavour they are using and this is a great shame as these anglers are missing out on tremendously better catches if they knew more! The real key to long-term success for average-skilled anglers is the use of nutritionally stimulating baits seriously packed with optimum levels of nutritional substances carp need in order to survive. Many versions of food style baits are being offered commercially by countless companies, but the large majority of these baits are in effect wasted by the fish due to being indigestible to varying degrees " but make no mistake, they still catch carp on many carp waters.

Many carp anglers are champions of highly flavoured baits over-dosed with highly concentrated flavours on many kinds of bases both natural synthetic, nature-identical and others where the lines are blurred completely (See my flavours secrets ebook for more!) Instant highly flavoured flavours do work very effectively but do not give you competitive advantages over excellent food baits if you are an average-skilled angler; in the hands of a very talented angler they can be extremely effective and I can name many of the key components of the very best flavours but that is for those wanting my ebooks! Chilli seems very popular today although it has been around as a bait additive for decades; this just demonstrates the number of outstanding additves and substances that are simply not being fully exploited that can leverage to maximum effect - the most potent of the natural chilli bioactive substances is named along with a unique supplier in my ebooks!

When you understand and appreciate much more deeply the relationship between substances carp depend upon for their very survival and how these impact upon their senses, health, digestion and metabolism etc you will be able to boost and top readymade baits like crazy be supremely confident in making and using your own specially powerful boilies, pellets, particle and fake baits and be able to leverage substances in ground baits to pull even more fish to your hook baits and get them feeding far more intensively and competitively! Everyone is on a learning curve in regards to baits but I can save you decades of researching and practical experience in choosing ingredients, formulating recipes, making baits and applying baits for big fish success and I am biased only in regards what works - as I am deliberately not affiliated with any individual bait company whatsoever despite having contacts and friends at many of the leading ones. You can even boost the simplest of baits far more than you might have ever read in the vast majority of carp magazines " I have written my ebooks to help you achieve your big fish dreams just as I have; so find out more at my site Baitbigfish!

Cheap Cruises on a Tight Budget

By Jim Lamchester

Cheap cruises are perfect for families, couples or friends who are traveling on a budget. Getting on a cruise liner at a fraction of the price can really be a real treat for people who do not have a lot of money to spare but want to in spend some quality time with their partners or their friends and family.

There are actually lots of ways in which you can obtain cheap cruises. One way is by traveling in groups. Surely a group of ten people can get huge discounts even if they are traveling during peak season. Therefore, if you want to travel with your family of four, you could probably invite your brothers, neighbors, or in-laws to join your group as well so you can enjoy the rebates or discounts. Unless of course you're planning a honeymoon, traveling in a big group is usually a lot more fun not only for you but for each of your companions as well.

Another way to save on cruises is by booking in advance or buying the ticket at the very last minute. A lot of cruise providers give early booking discounts to encourage passengers. So if you want to cruise around Europe in May, it may be wise to book your cruise as early as December. On the other hand, last-minute cruise fare purchases can also get you discounts. As much as possible, cruise operators want the ships to leave the docks at full capacity. Therefore, if there are just one or two cabins left a day before the start of the cruise, cruise ship operators are all too willing to give huge discounts for such unoccupied onboard accommodation. So, if you can go on a vacation on extremely short notice, then you should try buying a ticket a day or two before the start of the trip.

Cheap cruises are also available during non-peak seasons. The reason why fares during lean months are so low can be easily explained by the law of demand and supply. During the summer months, when most people have a higher tendancy to take a vacation, cruise packages are usually more expensive because there are more individuals who are interested to travel. However, during the autumn and winter months, people would much rather stay at home and drink hot cocoa, thus cruise packages are much cheaper.

An alternative way to get cheap cruises is by booking online. Since online travel agencies have lower operating costs than in-store travel companies, the former are much more generous with discounts and are much more flexible with rates too.
