Cabo San Lucas Fishing Adventure

Fishing in Cabo San Lucas is just perfect for experienced fishing enthusiasts and beginners alike. This renowned tourist destination does not only boast of having luxurious resorts and fine restaurants but also has a treasure in its marine life. Cabo is even tagged as the 'Marlin Capital of the World." It is home to the Blue Marlin, Black Marlin and the Striped Marlin.

The place is not just home to the different species of Marlin but also home to a lot of species like the Snapper, the Tuna and Mahi Mahi. Although these species of fish are seasonal in Cabo, it has, however, an abundant catch of Marlin throughout the year. The Striped Marlin is abundant during winter and the other two are abundant in summer and fall.

Cabo offers many fishing sites for your fishing adventures. This makes the area great because it allows you to have many choices where to go fishing. There are even fishing spots that are a few miles from the port of Cabo.

One of the famous and good sites for fishing in Cabo is the Tinaje Trough. This underwater canyon is home to a variety of fishes.

A good fishing site in the Tinaje Trough is between the Golden Gate and San Jaime where water streams and carrying an abundant supply of fishes like Blue Marlin, and various species of Tuna like the Yellowfin and Skipjack.

You can also opt to do fishing by chartering a fishing boat. Cabo has at least 350 charters that cater to boat chartering needs in the area. Chartering a boat for your fishing adventure may make it more exciting and fun.

If you want first-class fishing experience, you can even charter a yacht for your fishing adventure. There are several yacht chartering companies in Cabo that would cater to your need. They often offer chartering packages depending on how long the trip would be, and how many are going. Be aware also that fishing licenses may be required before you go on your fishing escapade.

Cabo does not only hosts world-class sporting events like golf and caters its visitors to its luxurious hotels and villas, but also hosts big fishing tournaments throughout the year and caters to your need of a first-class fishing adventure.
