Cruises Offer You A Great Value For The Money

By Donny McKinnon

If you take a cruise to relax, good for you! If you don't want to slow down, good for you! You can't lose taking cruises. You have everything you need right at your disposal. Your bed, your food, your on board entertainment, the beauty of the sea and the fresh air. All of these amenities are included in the price of your cruise. In addition, they are not just ordinary amenities.

For one fee, you will have all the above mentioned features and services in your hotel at sea. There are choices of staterooms besides the standard inside cabin. Staterooms with balconies and some staterooms with an outside view will cost a bit more than the standard. These upgrades are wonderful, but they do not affect much more than where you sleep. If you are using your cabin to hang your clothes and take a shower, sleep for a bit and then continue on with all the other activities, you may opt to occupy the standard room.

The ship bustles with daily activities. Tango or salsa classes, trivia games, bands, and parties at the pool and art classes name just a few of the activities offered every day. You can relax at the indoor pool which is usually near the spa or you can go crazy and belly flop at the pool. Take a snooze before dinner so you can enjoy the nightly show!

There are also activities that you can sign up for on board that take place on different islands. These excursions range from island tours, cooking classes, deep sea fishing, and scuba diving and picnicking. You will be told the time of the ship's departure from that port before you disembark. Pay attention!

If you want to stay on board while at port, you have that choice. While he is out deep sea fishing, you can relax at the spa and shop on board for some fancy little trinket. The ship's meals are available all day everyday, so join a group of girls for lunch!

The hours for dining are very well planned. Room service is the answer to every one's dream. There are food stations all over the ship for all-inclusive eating day and night. Breakfast is open seating in the dining room and full buffet on a different upper deck. Lunch is also open seating or buffet.

What a lovely affair dinner is. Served in the dining room by wonderful waiters who can't do enough for you. First class entrees are served graciously by well trained waiters. The whole meal is a marvelous, relaxing and indulgent two hours. Your waiter will call you by name and remember your preferences. If you are in a hurry, the buffet meals are scrumptious and waiting for you to help yourself.

Relax or go wild, the cruise is your transportation to a wonderful time. Go home pampered and relaxed with terrific memories of your days at sea!
