So Its Your First Time With A Cuban Cigars

By Trevor Wallace

If you ever get surrounded by a bunch of Cuban cigar lover, you'll hear how much each of them enjoy them. The fact of the matter is each Cuban cigar is very unique, especially the taste. The tobacco used in Cuban cigars comes from pre-selected highly guarded areas within Cuba. These farms are known as Vegas de prima or best of the best. So when it comes to the taste, Cuban cigars range from mild to strong. The popular ones are mostly strong with aromas of wood, chocolate, pepper, vanilla and more. Please note these are not added flavors, its just the beauty of the tobacco that grows all around Cuba. A truly blessed country in this matter.

I suggest you grab your self a milder Cuban cigar and get a taste of what a Cuban cigar is like. Observe the construction, the styling even the cigar brand. You'll begin to see the true beauty of the Cuban cigar. Did you know that ninety nine percent of Cuban cigars are hand rolled. Plus the tobacco used in them are actually real tobacco leaves unlike cigarettes where they chop up the leaves and mix it with god knows what.

The amazing thing about Cuban cigars is you can get them in various shapes and sizes. My personal favorite is the Cohiba Robusto. Its not too long and the thickness is perfect. I had my last Cohiba Robusto with some wine and it was phenomenal. Almost every Cuban cigar smoker has their own favorite. Some like the Rome Y Julieta, some like H.Upmanns (John F Kennedy's favorite brand). Once you start smoking Cuban cigars, you'll find one suited just for you, I guarantee it. Plus every once in a while Havana (Where Cuban cigars are made) introduces a new product so you always have a new Cuban cigar to try.

Of course, there are a variety of different brands and you should not limit yourself to just one. Each of them will bring something special to the table that you are able to enjoy whenever you are relaxing. Since they can be difficult to come by, however, you need to make sure that they are used for special occasions. They are perfect for sharing with good friends and for making an enjoyable evening all that much more special.

No matter where you get you Cuban cigars from, make sure they are legit. Only get them from authorized by Habanos SA distributors. You can't get them in the US as they are illegal but you can get them on the Internet. Again watch out for people selling them for a few hundred bucks as you won't even find them that low within Cuba!
